HISTORY :
This vehicle was bought by Mr Caute, an employee in the Marine Nationale (=French Navy), to go around. But he had to stop using it because he fell ill. He went on buying its 'vignettes' (=proofs of car tax payment) until 1968 and kept all of them. The vehicle is in its exact original state, even with its original Pilote tyres - they are more than 50 years old. The interior is like brand new.
All its documents still exist: insurance, guarantee cards; different letters, and especially the Carte Grise (=registration certificate) handwritten with a Sergent Major nib. I also have Mr Caute driving license, dated the 6th of October 1937.
