HISTORY : This car is one of the last CX Prestige to come from the production line at the Aulnay factory. Delivered to Sweden, it was picked up by the dealer Douglas-Auto of Stockholm, with the intention of preserving as new. After years of storage at the dealership, it was decided to sell the car to a lawyer acquaintance in Stockholm. He then kept the car in an underground car park in the city, and then decided in turn to sell it, which was when Fredrik acquired it. During the summer of 2013, I received a visit from Lars, president of the SM club of Sweden. He informed me of the existence of this fabulous CX and put me in contact with Fredrik. We agreed on a swap for a DS Pallas and the balance in cash. So it was that I left for Stockholm to deliver the DS on a trailer in order to return with the CX. Several days of cleaning and checks were sufficient. Note the sign “URGENT” put in 1989 on a car that will never be driven, amazing, isn’t it?
