MODEL: The Visa is produced from 1978 to 1988 and replaces the Ami 8. It is based on the Peugeot 104 platform.At its launch, it shows some peculiarities: central windscreen wiper, satellite dashboard controls and a first: integrated electronic ignition.
Engine: The only original Citroen engine offered in the Visa, the others being from Peugeot. Boxer twin cylinder, 652cc, 34Ch. Air cooled. Aluminium cylinders lined with Nikasil, a material already used on the Wanckel engines of the M35 and GS Birotor.
Second version of the Visa after the restyled front end in March 1981. One of the last Visa’s produced.
