HISTORY: Mr Confolent was the Citroën dealer in Saint Germain l’Herm. He sold this Visa to one of his nieces, taking in exchange her Renault 4 TL. This strong lady, a social worker, was considering using the car as a run around, but she died in the same year that it was purchased. Her sister Odette who runs the family grocery shop doesn’t need the car but looks after it until 2012. Mr Confolent having inherited the car, gets the car back and prepares it for the ‘contrôle technique’ (MOT) . 2 years later, my friend Jean-Pierre Laurens hears about this car from his body shop owner Alain Bonnefous. Then by chance he meets the son of the Citroen dealer, Philippe Confolent, who is told of the existence of the museum. For the Confolent family, this seems a great final destination for this car in near-new condition. When Jean-Pierre informs me of the existence of this Peugeot-engined Visa, I was a little reticent, but on seeing its condition and very low mileage, I took the sensible decision to buy it.
